Three days after the banding, another noontime peregrine show

Much more relaxed experience compared to Monday’s banding. At noon, I began photographing, just as Dapper Dan brought in prey for his own lunch. As I watched, he consumed his meal quickly, finishing in about 6 minutes.

Having just fed, he only did a small amount of flying,

He spent most of the next hour keeping watch.

Meanwhile, Diamond Lil spent most of that hour soaring south of Mission Street

She did make one close pass on her way in to land.
